Director of Quality Control and Assurance
Michael has deep quality management experience across multiple projects primarily in the food industry from farm to fork with experience in pulses, rice, flour and chocolate and has gained experience in drafting and implementing the quality assurance processes and strategies in several companies in Africa and Asia. More recently Michael was working with AGT Foods, the world’s largest producer of pulses and had responsibility for 35 facilities globally. Michael has multiple certifications in quality management and auditing including food safety programs, Health and Safety, Environmental as well as Health Canada’s testing protocols surrounding cannabis and cannabis products. Michael is a graduate of the University of Durban Technology in South Africa as well as numerous other certifications.
